Burr Ridge History

The village of Burr Ridge, Illinois is truly “a very special place”. Conveniently located approximately 19 miles from the Chicago Loop just off I-55 and County Line Road, Burr Ridge is a beautiful community, well known for its lovely homes and quiet residential subdivisions.

Bridging Cook and DuPage counties, Burr Ridge is an example of the rapidly changing landscape of the Chicago suburbs. Farmland has given way to upscale homes, retail centers and several restaurants. Despite the development in the area, the village has characteristics of a more rural community.
