FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS CREDIT
 
$8,000.00 CASH as a refundable tax credit to first time buyers!
 
  • Provides up to 10% of the home's purchase price up to a maximum of $8,000.00 to qualified First Time Buyers on any type of property
  • This Federal Tax Credit will come to you when you file your 2009 Federal Tax Return if you purchase a home before 12/1/2009
  • Credit reduces for singles with income above $75,000 a year and married couples with incomes above $150,000 a year
  • Home purchase must close before December 1, 2009 to be eligible for the credit

The intent of the Stimulus Bill is make buying your first home more affordable and is valid for only a short time.
